[Metrics API] Enhancement for Tag Segmentation and Campaign Filters

The existing Metrics API was lacking in functionality compared to the Metrics Aggregation Report. Specifically, it did not support filtering for “Only campaigns that were Live within a defined date-range” and lacked the ability to segment data based on campaign tags.

To bridge these gaps and ensure consistency with the MAR capabilities, the following enhancements have been made to the Metrics API:

  • Date-Range Filtering: The API now supports the “Only campaigns that were Live within a defined date-range” filter. This allows users to specify a date range and retrieve data exclusively for campaigns that were active during that period.
  • Tag Segmentation: Added functionality to segment data based on campaign tags. This feature enables users to organize and analyze API data with the same level of detail and customization as offered by MAR.

These enhancements to the Metrics API not only improve its functionality but also align it more closely with the capabilities of the MAR, providing a unified and consistent user experience.
